The Police Credit Union of California’s 2027 Annual Election will be for three vacancies occurring on the Board of Directors: two (2) vacancies for three-year terms and one (1) vacancy for a one-year term. For the Supervisory Committee, there is one (1) vacancy occurring for a three-year term. All terms of office will commence in 2027. Election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting in 2027.
Nominations for the 2027 Election will be accepted for 45 days, from May 17, 2026 - June 30, 2026. Candidates must be members of The Police Credit Union of California in good standing and at least 18 years of age.
Please note the following nomination procedures:
The Nominating Committee, per Article VIII, Section 1 of the Bylaws of the Police Credit Union of California, shall cause to be placed in nomination the name of one qualified candidate whose statement of intent as per Article VIII, Section 3 of the bylaws has been received to fill each vacant position on the Board of Directors and/or the Supervisory Committee.
Statements of intent to run for office and for which office the candidate intends to run, must be submitted in writing to the Nominating Committee at the Credit Union’s central office within the specified dates. The written statement of intent must be accompanied by the written endorsements of least three Credit Union members in good standing and a resume stating the candidates’ qualifications. No later than July 20th, individuals nominated or not nominated by the Nominating Committee shall be notified via first class mail. Individuals not selected by the Nominating Committee may still be included on the ballot by submitting a petition signed by one hundred Credit Union members in good standing. Nominating petitions will be accepted by the Secretary of the Corporation between August 31st and the closure of business on September 30th.
